MY LITTLE DEVIL’S IDEA ON MARKCONF 2007

Marketing Conference 2007 seems like a great idea. Great idea because it is entirely an alumni event, which means we make or break it. It is being hosted by the institute and tentative dates look like Sept 28-29. The entire event design is clear. Speakers at the panel discussions have to be IMT grad, which means we are looking for the best speakers across segments. Appeared to be a little tricky initially but the initial speaker list which I have seen is a revelation, though I am not giving it out at this stage except saying that preparations are going on track. Meanwhile want to let you know that the organizers are already freezing on the lead and segment sponsors and on the speakers. Any suggestions on these, do rush them to alumni relationship office. Watch this space for more.

I have a devil’s idea here. Let’s conduct a surprise quiz for the faculty at the end of Day 2 :). Any volunteers for this?!

A sector specific initiative, this group cuts across batches and sees sharing of resources, ideas and information pertaining to IT sector. If this interests you, do visit here to become a member. There are 70 guys on board already.

As I mentioned in the previous post, I had requested Prof Nilanjan Chattopadhyay to send a few lines on Placements 2007. He is the Chairman, placements at the insti. A detailed report on placements was waiting for me as I came back to Chennai. Some bytes I thought would be of interest.
